Looking Forward

In response to your replies as to whether or not this site was working for its purpose I wanted to let you know that I will continue to use this site as a way to communicate with all of you. Thank you for your responses and time you put in to communicate with me. I am excited about your YWT party coming up this Sunday at 5 Pm as it seems like I haven't seen some of you in a long time. We continue to chug our way through summer ministry and things have been going well up to this point. We are still struggling with worship and trying to make that work out, but it isn't dead yet and I hope and pray that once the school year picks up again we will get back into the swing of things. Some of the things that are going to be addressed at the YWT party is the need to have more consistent YWT meetings again, A BIG THANK YOU to all of the volunteers from this past year, a casting vision for next year and seeing who is on board for next year. I think it will be a lot of fun and like I said earlier I am looking foward to it. If anyone has any questions or needs any directions feel free to contact me! Thanks again for all that everyone does and I couldn't do it without you. The volunteers are, and need to be, the heart of FOCUS Factor Minstires.

Is the Blog site working?

I start out this post with a question! I have not gotten much feedback on this site as I once hoped for. I am not sure if it is too hard to make a comment (since I have heard some of you are having technical difficulties) or if this is just not they way to communicate. I started this site to take the place of our monthly, then quarterly, meetings because it was difficult to get everybody together. I need to have a platform, so to speak, where I can share my visions, ask questions and get suggestions as a youth pastor and the YWT is where I turn to. If this is not working then we can try something else, but I am not sure what is going to work. I know I see some of you on a regular basis, though not for meetings :), and others I don't see at all. I again feel like I am not communicating enough about upcoming events, my dreams and vision for the future and things we need to work on. Is there another venue that will work better? Thanks for all the time that you all give and may the LORD be uplifted through our efforts.

A YWT Party @ The Greenwoods' House

I have been talking with Karolyn and we both agreed we need to have a party at our house for the YWT team as an opportunity to thank you for your work over the last school year and also to see who is on board for the next year. The date that it fell on is July 29th at 5 PM! This is a Sunday night and this seems to work the best for us and for most people. We want to invite you to our house for a cookout and a good time. Please RSVP by July 22nd as to whether or not you can make it. The night will end at 7 PM and all you need to bring is a dish to pass such as baked beans or cheesy potatoes :)! Again, this is a time for us to thank you for your service, see if you're on board for next year and share again my vision for the upcomming school year. Have an awesome summer and I look forward to hearing from you.
