Super Bowl Party & Other Things

I think the Super Bowl Party went very well this year. I am not sure exactely how many people watched the game but at least it was a "safe" party for those who came. We had great attendance and I did see a lot of good interaction between the teens as well as the adults with the teens. A big "Thank You" goes out to the Steury's who opened their home for this crazy time. Continue to pray for Aaron as he gets over this Pnemonia and for his speedy recovery. I forgot last night to thank Toby for the work he put in the Casa in the form of the picture colloage on the Casa counter (it looks awesome)! Again, thanks for all of your hard work and everything that you do for FOCUS Factor Ministries and more importantly for serving the LORD in His work. I know this is a hard stretch of the year as the teens have "cabin fever" and things can get a little crazy! Keep up the good work. I am very grateful for all of you and know we couldn't accomplish half of what we do without YOU and the time that you give. Have a great day and I look forward to the future.

Thank you, Steury's! You guys have a beautiful home and we greatly appreciate your opening to the youth and the possibilities of damage. There are a great deal of people who choose not to be open and attempt to safegaurd what God has given to them, thank you for ministering to the teens and allowing us to share in the blessings HE has bestowed upon you. On a different note, I was thinking that since you guys are on the lake, and the summertime is a perfect time for you to get away, and take a break...that you would probably need some kind of a housesitter, or someone to make sure that things in your house continue to run smoothly while you are away on vacation for a few months. I would like the Steury's to know, that God has laid upon my heart to be a servant and anser to the call...it would be a difficult job, and I don't normally volunteer in this manner, but my family and I might be convinced, or bribed, to sacrifice our time and house-sit for you guys, at your house, while you are away. I would even go so far as to make sure we eat your food so it does not go stale, use your bathrooms to make sure that the water stays fresh, and swim in your part of the lake to be certain that the water mixes in with the rest of the lake. I know that is important for the environment. If you own a boat and jet skis, it is my understanding that those need to be run at least once a day, to maintain the proper pressure in the engine and to ensure that they will start up and run properly when you return from you 3 month vacation. It will be difficult, i know, but God never promised us an easy life, and I feel encumbant upon myself to take up that heavy cross, carry this burden, for the greater good of the kingdom, and so that you may rest easy knowing that we have it all under control. If you are reading this, and you live in a lake home, a penthouse in the city, or have your own island in the carribean and are in search for a housesitter, please let me know.
